1922 Chandler Six, Seven Passenger Touring Car

This rare Chandler Six 7 Passenger Touring Car is coming out of an estate.  Limited history is known on the car as presented below:

 

- Estimated Three Owner Car

- Complete, high level restoration at some point in its history

- Solid Wood Frame with Good Sheet Metal

- Solid wood spoke wheels with 4 matching hubcaps

- Six cylinder engine 

- Manual Transmission

- Two tone paint scheme with burgundy body and black fenders 

- Vinyl seats with correct carpet

- Vinyl top in excellent condition

- Rear Window is beveled glass

 

The engine appears to have been subject to a rebuild during the restoration, but this can not be confirmed.  The motor turns over freely with the starter, and the engine will fire when primed.  The decision was made to leave the starting and driving of the car to the next curator of this fine piece of motoring history.

 

This car has been consigned to the 9th Annual Montana Classic Car Auction hosted by the Classic Car Auction Group. The auction is Saturday, September 4 at MetraPark in Billings, Montana.
